This is the terms page. It is short, it is in a font you can actually read, and the awkward bits are at the top instead of hidden at the bottom in grey. You are welcome.
What you pay and what you get
$20 buys one lyric video of one song you send us, up to five minutes long: your words on the screen, painted picture by picture, usually back the same day. $100 buys six, and the other five wait on your account until you want them — they do not expire.
If we cannot make it work
You pay when you buy, before you send us anything — so the promise that goes with that is a simple one. If we cannot make a video of your song that we are willing to hand over, we say so and give you your money back, and your files are deleted along with the order.
Changes
If a picture is not right, say so and we paint three new ones and you pick. You get three rounds of that, included. After that we stop painting and instead show you every picture we ever made for that line, so you can choose the best of the lot — and there is a button that sends the really awkward ones to the design team.
Your song is yours. Full stop.
We do not own it, we do not licence it, we do not sell it, and we will not put it in an advertisement because we think it would look nice in one. If we ever want to show your video as an example, we ask you first, and “no” is a complete answer.
What you are promising us
That you have the right to use the song you are uploading — you wrote it or you own it. We care about artist rights and want you to be protected too, so you gotta own what you submit.
A machine paints the pictures
We’ve hired the best graphic design computer artists we can afford. They’ll create custom painted images based on your lyrics. Our machines sometimes get silly ideas about what you’re looking for, so we’ve got the 3x3 model — three revision rounds with three pics each.
If it goes wrong
If you don’t get something you are happy with, please contact us within 3 days of your last revision round. We want to make it right: [email protected]
Copyright complaints
If you believe a video we made uses your song without your permission, email [email protected] with the song title, where you saw the video, and how we can reach you. A person reads it. If the complaint holds up, the video comes down and the customer who ordered it is told why.
Your files
Your audio and lyrics are kept while the job is live and a short time afterwards, so you can come back and download it again. If we refund you, they are deleted along with the order.
Getting back in
There is no password to lose. Click Login, give us the email address you ordered with, and we send you a link. That is the whole system.
